A Hidden Gem in Ruamrudee: Craft Beer Heaven at Warehouse Bar by Jaang

Sawasdee-ka!

If you're looking for a quiet place to truly appreciate the art of craft beer, I’ve found a secret spot that feels like a world away from the city's hustle and bustle.

Recently, I visited Warehouse Bar by Jaang Craft Beer, tucked away in a small alley off Ruamrudee Road.

A Journey into Old Bangkok

The walk to the bar is part of the experience. As you turn off the main street and pass the Polo Club, the scenery shifts to a nostalgic "Old Bangkok" vibe. You might hesitate for a moment when you see the entrance, but don't let the unassuming exterior fool you—adventure awaits inside!

A Private Beer Sanctuary

We arrived just after 5:30 PM on a Saturday and had the entire place to ourselves. It was the perfect setting to dive deep into their impressive selection. Following the master’s expert recommendations, we went on a "beer marathon," exploring everything from refreshing Wheat beers to bold IPAs and rich Stouts. Every pour was a testament to the quality that true beer lovers crave.

Perfect Pairings

To accompany our flight, we enjoyed a delicious spread of:

Duck and Sausage Platters – Savory and perfect with darker ales.

Gai Tod (Fried Chicken) & Shrimp Spring Rolls – Crispy classics that make every sip of beer even better.

Old-School Popcorn – Made by a vintage machine right in the bar! It’s the ultimate nostalgic snack to wrap up the night.

Final Thoughts

As the evening progressed, local Thai youths began to trickle in, creating a vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere. It’s a wonderful place to slow down and focus on the flavors in your glass.

If you’re in the Ruamrudee area and want to escape the crowded rooftop bars for something more authentic and intimate, this is the place.

Location: 99/2 Witthayu Rd, Lumphini, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330

Cheers to good beer and hidden discoveries!
